Water foxes

"In the darkest hours, she escapes into the sea of dreams to swim with the water foxes."

Done for a charity project for water.org through Aqualumina. I was going for a story book look here that's between something innocent butsubtlely menacing (tried implying that the character gets close to getting lost in this black hole of the other world of dreams and "drown"). With the idea of the two layers of reality i experimented with layered textured papers and gold foil.

Would like to do another piece similar to this with more polish, was a fun one.
